Hypnotherapy and Regression Qualifications and Experience
I trained and qualified as a professional Hypnotherapist in 2002 obtaining a Diploma, and going on to take a further Diploma in Past Life Regression. (SAC Dip. Professional Hypnotherapy and SAC Dip Regression).
In October 2010 I was awarded SQHP which is a Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice status due to my experience and professional development.
I am fully insured to practice professionally through Lloyds of London.
SQHP status explained -
Since the 1st August 2003, The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) has been awarding the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GQHP) to suitably qualified practitioners. The award is available to any hypnotherapist who:
(i.e as acknowledge by the GHSC)
N.B. A senior award, the SQHP, is also available for practitioners who, in addition to the above requirements, have been in continual practice for a minimum of 5 years and who have maintained a minimum average client workload of 25 hours per month throughout that period.
Personal History
Originally from Cardiff, I have lived and worked in many locations and towns over the years. My first career was in housing, support and homelessness, working predominantly with vulnerable people and spanned some 20 years. In 2000 I relocated to the beautiful county of Cornwall and took a career break. In 2002 I left housing and trained and qualified in both Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression Therapy, obtaining a Diploma in both. Since that time I have used the skills, knowledge and experience I gained in housing and support work, along with my management experience and people skills to develop myself as a successful therapist.
In 2007 I trained in Reiki Level 1 and 2, following it through in 2009 by taking my Reiki Level 3 Master / Teacher.
In February 2009 I left Cornwall and relocated to Hertfordshire where I currently live and work full time as a Therapist.
